Windstar Kennels is an “All-Inclusive” Pet Resort offering Overnight Pet Lodging, a Professional Grooming Salon and Doggie Play Care. The Kennel is located in beautiful Longmont, Colorado and has been in operation, providing quality pet care for over fifteen years.

Family owned and operated, the owners have more than twenty years of professional Animal Husbandry experience. The owners are retired Professional Show Dog Handlers, Groomers and Trainers. Occasionally, they still show their own dogs and they also enjoy judging AKC Conformation Show Events. They are very active in a number of different Dog Clubs and Pet Organizations here, in the local Boulder/Denver area. The facility is licensed to operate under the Pet Animal Care Facilities Act which is governed by The Colorado Department of Agriculture-Division of Animal Industry.

Windstar Kennels sits on just over two well manicured acres of land. We have much grass and many mature shade trees that will enhance your pets overall lodging experience. The Kennels are comprised of Indoor/Outdoor Kennel Suites in intimate surroundings. All of our buildings are climate controlled with Air Conditioning and Heating to provide your pet with year round comfort. We have many spacious running, play yards where your pet can exercise and socialize with other guests while under our expert supervision.

At Windstar Kennels your pets are treated like members of our family. Our mission is to provide quality care and comfort to your pet. Here, your pet will always receive our utmost attention. Being “All-Inclusive”, we do not charge extra to administer medications or to feed special diets. Participation in our Doggie Play Care program is INCLUDED in the cost of lodging. Most other kennels charge an additional $8.00-$16.00 per day, for this service. As an added bonus, guests staying for two weeks or longer receive a complimentary exit bath.
